Hobnobbing

I really hate looking for a job
So I’ll just rot at the one I got
It’s not like I don’t want to get ahead
But I can’t play the game and say what must be said
A lot of hob, hob hob nobbing
A lot of empty heads empty heads bobbing 

You wanna hear some cold hard facts?
Only five percent of jobs are through the want ads
To get ahead you gotta know someone
So get networking, get it done 

Then you get suited up and move on in
Soon they’ll discover that you’re not one of them
All upward mobility is at an end
And you can start it all over again
